The Book
Chanakya Neeti is a collection of the wisdom filled shlokas by Chanakya - the guru of Chandragupt Maurya and architect of the Mauryan Empire of India. This is a translation by B. K. Chaturvedi.

The book is divided into six parts:

  1. The Individual
  2. Society
  3. Good Company
  4. General Observations
  5. Miscellaneous
  6. Sutras of Chanakya

Yellow - the book is centuries old and people would find some of Chanakya's thoughts, specially related to women, offensive. Difficult for me to comment on the quality of translation as I've forgotten most of the Sanskrit I learnt. But the editing is quite poor and the book is full of arcane words and spelling errors - which significantly impact the readability.
